Activities

Our location is the perfect place for outdoor pursuits, so we have linked up with The Wiltshire Outdoor Learning team to provide some activities on site.

If you or the kids are feeling energetic on Saturday 1st August you can have a go on our 7.3 metre high climbing wall ( weather dependant), team up with friends for war games Laser Battles or scare yourself with  Axe throwing Lessons! The guys from Wiltshire Outdoor Learning team will be on hand offering expert advice and keeping you safe. (Laser Battle & Axe Throwing activities are free of charge. The climbing wall is £2.00 per person. Activities can be booked on arrival and are subject to availabilty)

If you fancy doing  your own thing.... Bring your walking boots or your Mountain Bike. There are  some great trails nearby.  We are located on a National Cycle route, our quiet country lanes offer a wonderful way to  explore the area with plenty of places to stop off along the way.

If  you fancy a hill challenge on your bike, then head up toward Dinton from the village of Wylye go over the railway crossing. It is marked on the map . It's steep and long but the view at the top is well worth it. Coming back down is also great fun. Make sure you have good brakes. You can stop at The Bell Inn in Wylye for a well earned pint once you have completed your speedy descent!
